Double Tree By Hilton Hotel at Universal Entrance Rooms Avg $110/Night

Great location, as it’s nearby to Universal Studios and near some restaurants. Very great for conferences as well. The pool was big and loved that there was a splash pad for the kids and hot tub. Also very convenient that they have a starbucks and breakfast buffet and pizza & burger place right in the hotel! The rooms are a bit out dated, but really spacious. Hotel staff were all very friendly and welcoming— from the front desk folks, housekeeper, valet and even just any worker i walked by! The only thing that sucked was the $33 per day parking, but i get it the parking was very secure. Would definitely come back here in the future!

The energy you feel from her over the phone is top tier! This lady has literally made my day by being helpful, kind AND PATIENT!!! So thank you Liz!!!! THANK YOU for loving your career so much that people feel welcomed before the even arrive!! You are setting the bar high for all Hilton properties and restoring my faith in Hilton and humanity!! Me and my boyfriend came here for vacation and we had an amazing time! We were here for 4 nights . We loved this hotel we got here few hours early and they held our stuff for us while we went to some stores till check in. They gave us free cookies they’re so good. Hotel room was really nice and clean. They have a fire pit outside and we sat next to it like every night. Jacuzzi is really big and nice too! Definitely recommend this hotel.Customer service is amazing everyone is super welcoming and sweet. Especially the girls working at the front desk.

Great location with okay amenities. Very close to universal with complementary shuttle and easy access to highways. The service is impeccable. Hotel staff are kind, accommodating, and very joyful. Price for two nights was reasonable. Unfortunately, the rooms are dated and not very clean. Our second and last night, the room reeked of cigarette smell even though it’s a non smoking hotel. I let the staff know and they were happy to help. I’d stay here again for the staff alone.

Charging 33 dollars a night for parking is ridiculous, especially since you already pay an average of $200 a night for the room. The shuttle to take you to universal you have to sign up for in the hotel or it will be a 20 minute walking depending on if you have kids or not could be longer. Not only do you need to sign up for the shuttle it only runs at a few select times. When coming back from universal it is first come first serve, and again the times coming back are only a select few. The Starbucks on site is no good. The staff wasn’t friendly the coffee was burnt and they never had enough food. The pool was nice nothing fancy. The jacuzzi was hot no complaints there. Now onto the stay. The room smelt musty and moldy. The air conditioning is loud. The carpet was stained, definitely some form of a pet stain. The beds were not the most comfortable. The cleaning staff put a stained sheet on our bed. We had cockroaches in our room. When we informed them, with a smile they said “yes we are aware thank you for letting us know.” Lots of issues with this particular hotel. It looks great on the outside. However don’t be fooled. Roaches in the room!! Smell of musty/mold in the rooms. Stained carpets. This is not an ideal hotel to stay in. When all of my concerns were brought up to the guest relations upon checkout they looked at me and smiled. They said they know about ALL the issues!! Well tell your customers so they can go somewhere else!!!! I have videos/pictures of everything.
