a month agoWe had a very nice stay with a beautiful view. The room was spacious. The kitchen was very helpful. Free coffee at 7 am was very helpful. My only issue was that the TV didn't work. It was missing something and there were wires sitting on top. The front desk couldn't do anything to fix it. Other than that it was a great stay.

2 months agoI've stayed at multiple units here and enjoyed all of them. The building mixes hotel, rentals and ownership. It's not a problem from my perspective, I've found it to be very calm and noise-free. The parking garage is convenient and easy to find spots and navigate. The area is incredible, it's right in the best part of the Grove.

3 months agoSafe, comfortable hotel with a nice view of the Bay (as advertised), a small functional balcony with two chairs, and thus a sliding glass door that allowed ocean breezes. The front desk folks were OK, but were not particularly friendly or helpful. The valet guys were great. The main thing was the comfortable room - in the small hotel space they had a fit in a well-stocked kitchen with a full fridge, stove, dishwasher, dishes, etc. The bathroom was nice with space to put out toiletries. Good lighting throughout, good plugs for electronics. The hallways and guests were quiet and clean. Good value overall.

3 months agoWe just stayed at the Hotel Arya for 10 nights. The location is excellent for walking to restaurants and bars. We even took the trolley from Coconut Grove into Brickell for a night out. We had a pleasant experience at check-in with Jessica who was very responsive to all our requests/inquiries. Unfortunately, Jessica is not in charge of the Housekeeping staff who very hard to find and often either didn't show at all or arrived at 2 or 3 PM to clean the room. After spending the day on the golf course or at the beach, we expected to come back to a clean room with fresh towels. We had to call the front desk (Jessica) repeatedly to try and get housekeeping to come to our room. Jessica was understanding but explained that she could not control the housekeeping schedule. It put a major crimp in our plans for showering and dressing each day not knowing when or if Housekeeping would show up. They need to do better.

2 months agoThe location is great but unfortunately that is all that is worth commending them for. The rooms are very outdated and the service was inconsistent at best. We booked through Booking.com and when we arrived they did not have our reservation. They made amends by giving us an "upgraded" room in size and view but the room was smaller than we paid for and did not have a view. The second and third night they honored our original ask of a suite by moving us but they also promised they would waive the first night and did not end up doing that upon checkout. Ultimately if you need a place to stay in Coconut Grove and want value for the money you spend, do not stay here.
