Paired with seashell wedding company, Hannah in wedding marking, location, and staff, this is the ultimate wedding destination. My husband and I were married here 5 years ago and stayed for NYE this year. We ate at the inn for our first time and it was quite the memorable meal! The whole experience staying at this resort is so much fun, we cant wait to come back!

Absolutely amazing. My wife and I stayed here the nite after our wedding (11/22/25) & they went above and beyond to make us feel special. As someone who works in hospitality, right when we stepped out of our getaway car, I knew we were at a very nice place. Thanks to everyone at The Henderson for making us feel special after our big day!

A beautiful hotel that allows dogs. It is not a beach front location. One must walk about half a block, cross a quiet street to the original hotel then enter through a locked gate to reach the beach. I am disabled and use a walker, the beach is too far for me to walk. The hotel has two lovely pools if one does not want the beach .

During my recent stay at The Henderson Beach Resort, I experienced multiple issues that made the visit disappointing. First, the room was not properly cleaned, as I found hair in the drawers and noticed that the space did not appear well maintained. On top of this, there were incorrect charges posted to my account, which required me to spend far too much time with guest services and over email to resolve. This was frustrating and should have been avoidable with more organized operations. A major factor in booking this reservation was the promised kayak availability. When I asked to use a kayak, I was told they were closed for the season—something that was never mentioned when I specifically checked about this at the front desk during check-in. This lack of transparency was very disappointing, especially since it was the main reason for my booking. Finally, traveling with a small baby, I requested a crib multiple times before and during my stay. Despite these repeated requests, a crib was never provided, which made our stay much more challenging and uncomfortable. Overall, the combination of cleanliness issues, billing errors, unavailable amenities, and unmet requests for basic needs like a crib left a lot to be desired. I expected much better from a resort of this reputation and price point.
