Four Points by Sheraton Orlando International Drive

Very close to universal, the rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The hotel smells very clean and is kept very well especially compared to other hotels that are in the same price range. They also have a complimentary shuttle to bring you to universal. The staff is very nice and helpful, even when I had seen one dealing with a rude customer, she handled it professionally. The only thing that I did not like was that the TV in the room had lines in it from being so old and worn out, smart TVs are not super expensive so I feel like that could have been an easy upgrade to assist with the modernization of the room. Also, having a cruddy TV is just not a good look.

Room was clean and spacious. Price was very reasonable for the price we paid. Good budget hotel with warm pool, self laundry facility. Don’t expect it to be more luxurious like some other Sheraton hotels. This is about the same as a nicer holiday inn. Pictures is a bit misleading. There are NO waterslides. Just a small outdoor pool. They do have a mini arcade.

⭐️⭐️⭐️ This hotel earns a three-star rating primarily due to its location. Outside of that, the overall service and experience were subpar. Unfortunately, this property appears to have become complacent because of its proximity to Universal Studios—a trend I’ve noticed with several surrounding hotels. Many of those nearby properties have since closed, while this one remains open largely because the location naturally draws guests. That said, both the rooms and the level of service reflect complacency rather than guest-centric excellence. The housekeeping staff were very inconsiderate, frequently opening and slamming doors early in the morning. While the hotel has a unique and visually appealing octagon-style hallway design around the elevators, it unfortunately amplifies noise significantly. Sound travels easily, making it very difficult to get a good night’s sleep. The breakfast buffet, which retails for $22, was extremely disappointing. The sausage was dried out, there were no eggs available, the coffee station was empty, and the tables were sticky. I’ve honestly received better breakfast service at a Motel 6. Maintenance and upkeep were also lacking. Issues included a tub stopper that wouldn’t stay up and toilets that ran continuously throughout the night. Overall, the property felt worn and poorly maintained. I was especially disappointed to have redeemed hard-earned Marriott Bonvoy points for this stay, given the quality of the experience. Marriott should strongly consider inspecting this hotel to ensure it meets brand standards.

I recently returned from a stay here. The hotel is really close to universal and has a free shuttle which has several pick up times picking up behind the hotel and travels to neighboring hotels before dropping off at universal partner bus. The rooms need to be cleaned and updated. I’ve attached photos of the curtain which was stained with what appeared to be blood. The bed had stains on the mattress cover. This is unacceptable. The chair was soiled and had questionable stains. Clearly visible and gross. Unsanitary. The air conditioner caused me sinus issues and vent needed to be replaced, it was dirty and unhealthy for someone like me with severe lung issues. We cut our stay short to one night (originally booked two) because the condition of the property was not up to basic standards.

Aged, Musty, and Not Worth the Price We stayed at Four Points by Sheraton Orlando International Drive expecting a comfortable stay based on the Marriott Bonvoy name, but the experience was extremely disappointing. The room had a stagnant, moldy, almost cat-pee odor that appeared to be coming from the bathroom. With no airflow, sealed windows, and no balcony or lanai, the smell lingered and made the room feel damp and stuffy the entire stay. The property is clearly aging. The carpet felt worn and old, the furniture looked dated, and the room had that humid, musty feel common in buildings that haven’t been properly updated. The bathroom showed signs of age as well, with lingering mildew odors and poor ventilation. Soundproofing is minimal. You can hear hallway noise, doors slamming, and outside traffic from International Drive. The air conditioner was loud and cycled frequently, making it hard to sleep. Other disappointments: • Outdated interior and worn furnishings • Damp, stale smell that never cleared • No fresh air or ventilation options • Thin walls and noticeable noise • Bathroom ventilation issues • Overall “tired” and neglected feel Parking was $20 per day, which feels excessive given the large surface lot and available space. Hidden costs like this add to the frustration, especially when the room itself is already overpriced for what you get. Pros: • Convenient location near Universal Studios • Easy access to International Drive dining and attractions Cons: • Strong unpleasant odor in the room • Poor ventilation and sealed windows • Aging property with worn interiors • Noise and loud AC unit • Extra daily parking fee • Poor value for the price We booked expecting a reliable Sheraton-level stay, but the property felt neglected and outdated. Between the smell, lack of airflow, and extra fees, it was not a comfortable experience — and we would not return.
