in the last weekI went here about 7 months ago for my Honeymoon, and wow can I say this was just a beautiful and homey resort. Everything from the front drive, to the lobby, to the rooms and pool, it was super tidy and clean. The staff was super warm and helpful in any questions we had. The restaurant inside was very delicious and i enjoyed their plentiful options. Overall, this resort is a must visit and I will always remember it for playing a part in making my honeymoon so perfect !

a month agoThis resort is exactly what we were looking for with our 3 night getaway. We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite that was super clean, very spacious and comfortable amenities. There were 2 full bathrooms and both bedrooms had wrap around balconies with a spectacular view of the Bay and ocean. It also had a bright kitchen with all the amenities (minus a stove) but who wants to cook on vacation anyway. 😀. Plenty of deck space to catch the sun and easy access to the beach. Bar service by the pool deck was a great feature to order ice cold drinks and bar food. Overall had a very pleasant stay. We loved this place and will return.

2 weeks agoI am writing to share some feedback regarding our recent stay at the Daytona Grande Oceanfront Hotel during our visit for our daughter’s color guard competition. While the hotel itself is beautiful and the poolside staff went above and beyond to provide excellent service, we unfortunately had a less than satisfactory experience with the bar staff inside the hotel. During multiple interactions, we found them to be unfriendly and not particularly welcoming. This was disappointing, especially considering the excitement of the weekend and the fact that we previously used your hotel to host guests for our wedding in 2023. In contrast, the poolside staff were truly wonderful. They were friendly, attentive, and helped make our time by the pool enjoyable and relaxing. Their professionalism and warm demeanor stood out and deserve to be recognized. Thank you ladies! We chose your hotel again expecting a fun and relaxing experience, and while some aspects met that expectation, the service at the hotel bar did not. We hope this feedback is received in the constructive spirit intended. In particular, we feel that Izzy could benefit from some professional development, specifically in the area of cultural awareness and guest engagement, to ensure all guests feel valued and welcomed Thank you for your time and attention. We appreciate your commitment to guest satisfaction and look forward to seeing improvements should we return in the future.

a month agoI think that the hotel is overpriced for what you get. The $600 plus dollar a night event price is not worth what you get. When we checked in we sat at the pool bar which was nice with music playing but when one of the bar employees left for the day he had taken his phone with him and the music was gone. Apparently the speakers were broken at the pool bar so the bar was surrounded by awkward silence. After that we were able to check in and we were given a room on a high floor which was nice. I had already prepaid for the room almost nine months before we checked in but when we went up to the room I checked my credit card and the hotel had put a $3300 dollar hold on my card for incidentals. I went back down to the front desk and they said that they don’t know why it happened but it should clear up in five to ten business days after I check out which was in five days. On day two we went to the restaurant in the hotel and I ordered a burger. My burger came out very burnt and the fries that it came with were cheap frozen fries but the wait staff in the restaurant were great and very helpful. The third day that we were there we had no housekeeping but when we did get housekeeping every other day they did a fantastic job cleaning the room . The housekeeping staff all did a great job keeping the hotel clean it was very noticeable. The walls of the hotel are thin and you can hear the elevators click all night long as they move up and down. It’s very noticeable. I really wanted to like this hotel but they definitely missed the mark.

a month agoDo yourself a favor and do not stay at Grande Daytona Resort. I’ll start with the most alarming thing: just feet away from the hotel, two people got shot. That’s how unsafe it felt here. It’s honestly shocking that the hotel doesn’t do more to protect guests. The front desk staff was fine. Nothing amazing, but they did their job. The staff at the inside bar were great, really friendly and welcoming. But the outside bar? Completely awful. I waited around 30 minutes to be served, and there weren’t even many people there. Everything in the outside bar looked dirty. The hotel itself looks nice, but don’t let that fool you. The management is a disaster. They let way too many people who aren’t staying at the hotel inside, creating a totally unsafe and chaotic atmosphere. I even rented an umbrella from a third-party vendor for the beach from 10 am to 5 pm and ended up leaving early because it was so out of control. The beach was packed, there was constant chaos, and the whole time it reeked of marijuana. Not exactly the relaxing vibe I was hoping for. I would not recommend this place to anyone. It’s overpriced, unsafe, and the management clearly has no concern for guest experience. Stay away from this hotel.
