a month agoI didn't know what to expect before I got to the resort and to be honest I wasn't overly impressed initially but once I got to my room and gave it a chance I actually fell in love with it. For the price point you can't go wrong, the rooms were very nice and well maintained, staff kept the rooms clean and we had no issues with leaving our stuff out when they came into the rooms. The pools were awesome, we had a blast swimming! The cafeteria was great, drink machines were awesome, we brought our own breakfast and the toasters worked great! I would recommend this resort to anyone!

4 weeks agoThe All Star resorts are an AMAZING value. Basic dining options, laundry, multiple pools, great options for adult beverages. Convenient parking (I've NEVER had to leave my vehicle far from my room!) Super close to the parks, especially EPCOT, Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios. The rooms are ALWAYS spotless and comfortable. I LOVE the convenience of the bus system, and that they drop you off right at the front gate of the Magic Kingdom, (No monorail or ferry boat ride from the parking lot!) And the fact that you can take a bus to Disney Springs, shop, dine, and indulge in adult drinks without having to arrange designated transportation!! What more can you ask for?!

a month agoOverall, the resort was clean and charmingly decorated, with two pools, a game room, a gift shop, and a food court, making it a great place to spend time without leaving the property. They also offered free marshmallows between 6 and 7 PM, allowing guests to roast them. The large guest laundry room was very convenient as well. The staff was incredibly friendly and made every effort to accommodate our requests. Shuttle buses to Magic Kingdom, Epcot, and Hollywood Studios ran from 7:15 AM, and to Animal Kingdom from 6:30 AM, allowing us to arrive at the parks with plenty of time for early entry. There are also regular shuttles to Disney Springs. While the shuttle to Disney World is usually spacious, returning to the hotel late in the evening can be crowded, and you may have to wait a long time or even stand due to lack of seats. Additionally, the resort is large, and if you're assigned a room far from the main building, you'll have to walk quite a distance, which can be inconvenient. However, I think it's a very reasonable resort for its price.

a week agoWe went to ASM last year and it was great! Rooms were clean and everything. This time around, the lights barely work in the suite. We have tiny white moths everywhere and the room was sandy. There were also cobwebs with dead bugs on the ceiling. Definitely needs a better cleaning service. Otherwise the rest of the facility is great. But I won't be sleeping here again.

2 weeks agoWhen I tell you this used to be my favorite resort I mean it. We would tell everyone to stay at All Star Music because of the value. We have stayed here so much my sister even noticed when the outside patio furniture changed. Our most recent visit has us saying no to All Stars from now on. The first night we had noticed a few ants near the sink area but I just killed them and went on our way. After our second day we got back in the room around 8:35pm and noticed around 15 ants in the sink as well as more crawling on the vanity, our skincare and toiletries, and wall. We headed up to the lobby to let them know about the problem and were told pest would be out. We were not told pest was off site and called the front desk around 9:20pm to ask when pest would be by because we were waiting to go to bed. We were then told that pest was off site and they would be coming. On the phone we were offered to move to either of the other all star resorts and which I told them we like staying at all star music for a reason 1. Family style rooms usually equal less groups. 2. We just like it better and the lobby better. We were then given a new room at 9:47 pm and moved to the very back of the broadway building. At that time pest control made it and did note that it was a pretty bad problem. He also noted we should have never been put into the room as they were already in the room beforehand. We noticed he had killed a few looked around the bathroom and then there were more alive ants in the sink. When we got to the new room our main focus was just showering and going to bed. We then shortly noticed that there were two toenail clippings around the room, as well as other people’s hair on the pillows and in one of the drawers . The toenail polish was red and neither of us had clipped our nails as well as had different polish on so we knew this was not ours. I then went up to the lobby for a second time this time in my pajamas to complain. Originally all that was going to be offered to us was a complementary Minnie van, $100 gift card (which wouldn’t have even covered the cost of the room), and the room re-cleaned which at this point it was late into the 10 pm hour. I told them I did not want to stay at any All Star the next night and I wanted to be able to sleep and not worry if the room was dirty. All together we were “upgraded” (which yes I am grateful for but it was not really a upgrade since we had to move or luggage twice because of their errors) and given a complementary Minnie van. Which the only reason we stayed at another hotel I because I had to advocate for it.
