a month agoEnjoyed. Clean room. Great bar, thanks for taking care of me. Didn't have breakfast there, I was too busy. Great front desk. Great parking. A lot of young athletes there at the time, and Very polite youngsters they were. Location was everything I needed right there, brewery. Publix. Amazing choices for any type of restaurant.

2 months agoCheck in was quick and smooth. There were cookies upon checking in. There was hot chocolate / hot tea and lemon water available which was a nice touch. There was a cart for transporting luggage in the front which was convenient. It was a reasonable price for the night. The lobby was cute and tidy. The room was clean just a bit odd there was a chalk board where the tv was. Restroom was a good size and I like the big shower.

2 months agoThe exterior and lobby/dining/courtyard are very nice, but my guest room left a lot to be desired. I arrived late in the evening and was met with a sticky wood floor at the entrance to the room and a musty smell. Two of the lamps in the room were unplugged, so I had to fumble around for a minute to get adequate lighting. LOTS of cosmetic issues - the carpet was frayed at the edges and stained in multiple spots, and the ceiling was covered in plaster from poor patching jobs. There were also a couple of small holes in the ceiling. The bathroom was very dusty around the edges, including the vent, and the shower floor and wall were badly stained. There was evidence of mildew around the edges of the shower as well. Functionally, the bathroom sink spigot is too short; there is about 1 inch of clearance between the water stream and the back of the sink. The shower water was great temperature-wise, but the pressure was not consistent for more than a minute or two at a time. The bed was about average, although the pillows were a little soft and the bedding was a little coarse for my taste. The morning after my first night, I visited the front desk to resolve an issue with my room key and asked the agent if housekeeping could hold off on cleaning my room until after 12:00pm (this was around 10:00 am) when I would be heading back out for the day. When I left, there were at least four other rooms on my floor being cleaned, but when I returned seven hours later, the room had not been serviced. I called the desk to request fresh towels and a trash bag, and the young man who delivered them smelled like smoke and was still finishing up a smoothie - I guess my request interrupted his break? Overall, relatively minor issues, but this experience was definitely not worth the rate I paid and definitely didn't meet my expectations from the brand.

3 weeks agoDisappointing Stay – Not Up to Hilton Standards I recently stayed at this hotel and, unfortunately, it did not meet the standards I expect from Hilton. I understand that the property is older, and I’m okay with that—but being an older hotel is no excuse for poor cleanliness and lack of upkeep. Right away, I had to clean the room myself. I used my own disinfectant wipes and found a white, sticky substance on the bathroom counter—possibly toothpaste. Other surfaces were sticky or grimy, and I was able to clean off quite a bit of buildup, which made it clear that housekeeping had not done a thorough job. Additionally, the carpet didn’t reach all the way to the sliding glass door—there was about a half-inch gap where black grime had collected. I don’t know exactly what it was, but it looked dirty and neglected. Even the outdoor areas were disappointing. The cushions around the pool were stained, and the pool itself didn’t appear clean. It just didn’t feel like a well-maintained or cared-for property. I didn’t bother going to the front desk because my thinking was—if this is how one room and the common areas are, I doubt the rest are any different. Sadly, I will not be staying here again, and I can’t recommend it to others who care about cleanliness and quality.

2 months agoChecked in with a very hospitable gal at the front desk. 👍 At first look upon entry of the room things looked very nice. Presented well. Enjoyed some sunshine around the pool. Very clean. However, the cleanliness of the bathroom shower area and floor is less than up to par. Visible dirty shower base/doors. Called the front desk a couple times to get wash cloths (that were not in the room), and get a wake up call, (never received an answer on the other end). Recommend better follow up by the management. And improved customer service.
