3 weeks agoBest hotel I have ever stayed at! Great service, beautiful, clean, and modern rooms with amazing views. All staff were very kind and approachable. In a place where Uber is super fast with pickups, you can get anywhere just fine even though the walking experience puts this hotel a bit away from other things despite being downtown. I was very happy with my corner room and my balcony with the awesome views! It really helped bring my trip to life with such a great place to crash each night! :)

a month agoHere for work, good location for business across from convention center. Stayed in west villas. Room was nice, beds were good, a bit small. Enjoyed the balcony overlooking the harbour. Bathroom was our major trouble area. Didn’t come stocked with lotions or amenities, however we did ask the front desk and they gave use some. The biggest problem which made the bathroom almost un useable was the shower, every time you use it, it flooded the bathroom. Cafe in lobby is great, especially when short on time, good pastries and decent coffee. Saved us a lot of time in the mornings Overall not a bad business stay. Our travel partner stayed in the tower and said it was much better.

3 weeks agoGreat location! Close to the cruise port and condron center. The rooms are outdated. The carpet was dirty and could use a good edging! There are 0 toiletries given in the bathroom like most Hilton properties. The sliding barn door in the bathroom is TERRIBLE! Absolutely no privacy! Even when latched in the middle, it's open on both sides with very large gaps and doesn't fully close in the middle when latched. The sink faucet handle is right up against the mirror. There's also no microwave in the room. Only a refrigerator. The staff was friendly and valley fast. The pool area is gorgeous!

a month agoThe rooms are setup nice and have a nice bathroom and shower, but the keycard was deactivated every time I left my room and had to get them to reactivate the key card and made me late since I wasn’t able to get back into my room when I needed. When you’re downstairs just trying to get a keycard at the front desk the hotel employees absolutely ignore everything else around them an it takes forever for them to check anyone in. Last night they tried to put me in a room that still had trash on the dresser and used towels on the floor when I walked in and there wasn’t even an apology about it; they just moved me over to the west wing where it was incredibly humid in the hallway and took forever to get the room cool.

a week agoI recently stayed at the Hilton Fort Lauderdale Marina before a cruise, and while the room itself was perfectly fine, the overall experience — especially customer service — was incredibly disappointing. The biggest issue was the front desk. When we arrived around 2:00 PM, the lobby was packed with guests and luggage everywhere. There were five guest service agents working, yet the line barely moved. Each agent was spending 20–30 minutes per guest. After finally reaching the desk, my check-in took less than two minutes — and I felt rushed the entire time and the lady that assisted me with the check in the first time is like she hates her job. I don’t understand why the agents are taking forever when check in process literally takes 2-3 minutes. To make matters worse, despite handing over my passport and clearly providing my first and last name, they incorrectly entered my middle name as part of my last name. Because of this mistake, they later claimed they couldn’t find my reservation in the system. We were told our room wasn’t ready at 2:00 PM and that we would have to wait. That’s understandable — check-in time is 4:00 PM — but no one explained where we could wait comfortably. The lobby seating is extremely limited. The only visible seating near the front desk is a high café-style counter with tall chairs — not suitable if you’re traveling with children. We waited for nearly two hours with our luggage, unaware that there was actually a seating area with couches located behind and down a small set of stairs near guest services. I only discovered it by accident when my son wandered in that direction. No staff member mentioned it. It was also dirty the couches have crumbs and chips. At 4:00 PM, when I approached the desk again, I was told my name had never been properly added to the system — which explains why we were left waiting. Apparently, the room may have been ready much earlier, but no one followed up. The second staff member who assisted me was kind and apologized, but by then the damage to the experience was done. Additionally, dining options are extremely limited. There is only one Mediterranean-style restaurant on property. I ordered a piña colada to start my vacation, only to be told they don’t have a blender — at a resort-style hotel. That was surprising and disappointing. Overall, while the room itself was fine, the disorganization, lack of communication, and poor customer service made this a frustrating experience. Management seriously needs to invest in better training for their front desk staff, especially when it comes to efficiency, communication, and basic customer service standards. Unfortunately, because of this experience, I’ve already told my friends and family — including members of my Facebook travel groups — not to book this hotel. This was a one-and-done stay for me, and I won’t be returning especially when you are paying $500/night.
