Holiday Inn Resort Kissimmee by the Parks by IHG

We had a very quick trip with a tight schedule & needed to be near WDW. The location is great for Animal Kingdom especially, but to WDW overall. The room was a good size and well appointed. But it was the service from the staff that really stood out. When we arrived the manager and one other check in staff were being berated by a guest. The staff and manager were very calm, attentive, polite, helpful with this guest. It was obvious the guest was somewhat “out of line”, and the staff was very professional and attentive. We had to stay an extra night at the last minute and the staff worked to find us a room during a VERY busy time for them. Hazel in the grill/bar area WAS THE BEST. She helped make certain we had time to order food on day of our late arrival. She was exceptional in her attitude with all guests. The food was very good, and the chef staff went above and beyond. The manager and all the check in personnel were so helpful and efficient. I will stay here again and would recommend it.

I would like to share the excellent experience I had at your hotel. The rooms were super nice, and the food was delicious. However, I want to congratulate Haizel for her exceptional work as a bartender at your hotel. Her ability to create delicious cocktails is impressive. And her capacity to interact with customers is truly admirable. Haizel has a gift for making everyone feel special and well taken care of, creating a memorable experience. Her positive energy, personality, and professionalism are contagious, and it's evident that she loves what she does. It is rare to find someone with such exceptional customer service. Keep shining, Haizel, and thank you for everything!

The restaurant staff was awesome. The first night we had dinner at the bar and Hazel was excellent and attentive to our needs. During breakfast every morning Viviana, Anaika, Maria and Daniela were awesome. They made sure we had everything we needed and were cheerful and always made us feel at home. We were always greeted with a smile and such a cheerful happy to see you this morning. On our last morning their we had well wishes and safe travels home from them.

We celebrated our son’s birthday at Disney’s Animal Kingdom and because it was literally 7 minutes away from the hotel, it was very convenient. The hotel staff was the best. Joshua, the receptionist, although it was his first day he was very professional, checked us in very smoothly. The breakfast is great, make sure you let the cashier know you are an IHG member and you can get a discount on breakfast. Viviana was the sweetest and very accommodating. This is our new hotel stay whenever we come back Orlando!

Breakfast is really good and the service is outstanding. Especially Viviana, she is really outgoing and spent time with us explaining the different things about the resort. Other people that were there that also were very nice and hard workers were Judy, Anoika and Daniela. I would stay here again just for them. The hotel is nice, but a little dated, but the amenities are very nice, especially for kids. The only drawback is the traffic in this area. Very hard to get to and from the parks.
