a week agoLet me start off by saying the staff was very friendly and helpful even recommended a few places to check out during my stay. I tried the Shor restaurant and it was amazing. Jennifer in the marketplace is amazing and very friendly. I was happy that she remembers my name and my special coffee. 😊 Overall, I enjoyed my stay. My room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. 😌

in the last weekWonderful stay we had here! From check in with the very helpful, Elisabeth, to getting snacks at The Market, dinner at The Shor Tavern to the ever present staff who were all helpful and friendly we couldn't have enjoyed our stay more! The hostess at the tavern was so nice and friendly and I'm sorry I didn't get more names... everyone was gracious. Our room was perfect and the view was beautiful. We'll definitely be back!

a week agoOur stay at the Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront was fantastic, thanks to the outstanding staff. Joy greeted us with a warm smile at check-in. Though our first room had a slow-draining sink and a smoke smell, Elizabeth, the night manager, acted quickly to address the issues. The next morning, Derek at the front desk kindly moved us to a new room with no hassle. Maria from housekeeping even left a sweet note and a $10 Marketplace voucher — such a thoughtful touch! We had a small billing issue at checkout, but Natalia resolved it right away. From valet to housekeeping, the service was top-notch. We'll definitely be back!

a month agoStayed here while visiting Jacksonville University. Interesting area, not much within walking distance. But the river is beautiful to look at and walk around there for exercise. The staff is nice and accommodating. I feel bad that they only have 1 guest service agent working during check in time at 4pm. Every day she had a huge line that wrapped around the lobby. She worked as fast as she could but still I feel bad for her. The amenities in the hotel were amazing. We used them all except the pool, it is off season. Lawrence the bartender at the Tavern was great. Happy Hour was a huge bonus. Dinner in the Tavern was great too, see pictures. Breakfast buffet at the Shore was nice too. The market is huge and has a ton to offer.

a week agoThe location was excellent. The service was poor. There was no phone in the room and after asking several times to get a phone in the room we never received one. We were there for 5 nights. It took 2 days before we received additional cold beverage cups and the ice machine never worked on our floor. The escalator from the ground floor to the next floor was broken and you could not use the stairs. There were 2-3 elevators not working during our stay as well. I would not recommend this hotel unless you go in with the attitude, "you get what you get".
