3 weeks ago5 Stars! An Unforgettable Stay at Tower 2! Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort exceeded all our expectations, especially our stay at Tower 2. The building was immaculate, beautifully maintained, and perfectly located for breathtaking views and easy access to the beach. Our accommodations were spotless, comfortable, and tastefully decorated, offering everything we needed for a relaxing and luxurious vacation. The staff was incredibly warm and professional, ensuring that every part of our experience was smooth and enjoyable. The entire atmosphere at Sandestin — from the pristine grounds to the peaceful surroundings of Tower 2 — made us feel truly at home. We can’t wait to return! Thank you for an unforgettable experience!

2 months agoAbsolutely loved staying at Sandestin! We came here for a quick birthday getaway. It’s such an accessible resort. I loved that the Beach had a restaurant overlooking the beach area (food and drinks were great!) as well as the beach bar hut to just walk up to and bring back to your chairs or hang. Stunning views, friendly staff, easy access to all amenities! Highly recommend and will absolutely be back! Also, shout out to Xavier for making check-in such a breeze and being so friendly!

a month agoWe had big issues booking through a third party site (don’t do this 😅) Alex at the front desk was kind enough to help sort everything out. He was very helpful and kind. Location is great they have a little bit of everything! We didn’t get to utilize the free bike rental & kayak rental because we were only there for 2 days, but I love that this is included! Property is beautiful. Our room was a little dated but clean & that’s all we cared about! We will definitely be back!

a month agoTraveled during spring break and had a great time. We stayed in one of the golf cart homes. The resort is built for carts and walking! Very easy to get around for all ages! We golfed at the Raven and Baytowne, both great courses with lots of interesting and difficult terrain. We shipped our clubs and that couldn’t have been easier. Michele Williams in shipping and receiving did a phenomenal job getting us taken care of. If you need anything shipped, Michelle is the lady!! The wharf is a lot of fun and has a little something for everyone. Safe, clean and good value.

a month ago****Update: Lowering review from a 3 star to a 1 star: 17 days after check out and $500 golf cart deposit has STILL not been refunded. No contact back from written inquiry. Not sure how a large resort can do business this way and get away with it.**** We were so excited about this trip but I feel I overpaid and our accommodations were not as promised. The grounds were beautiful, but upon arrival our condo had the patio door completely tarped over (covering more than half the view). The balcony patio was deconstructed for painting. The little yard that should have walked out to the lake had cones and caution tape all around it and was not accessible. Our bay window (and only living room view) was blocked by scaffolding. I immediately went to the desk to request another condo. Four hours of my life going back and forth and there were none available. The only one they could offer with a golf cart (which was important as we have a disabled son) and three bedrooms was in an entirely different location that would not have been close to the wharf or golf. So we were stuck paying $5000 for a week long stay without any outdoor space (the whole reason you vacation in Florida). The desk compensated (after talking to five different people) 15% of the actual room charges which only equated to a $580 discount (not even a single night rate!). With renting out owner condos the resort seems to have very little control over the accommodations and what can be done when they are not as advertised. We were very disappointed because we really wanted to love this place. We also did not care for paying exorbitant resort fees with our room charges and then paying additional excessive resort fees at every restaurant and store in baytowne. The positives: the condo was beautifully decorated and very clean-it had absolutely everything you would need. The grounds were beautiful and well kept. We stayed in Turnberry and the ability to walk to Baytown Wharf and Golf was perfect. The beach was a quick 7 minute golf cart ride away. It was very busy most days, but it was beautiful. The Beachhouse food was by far the best on property and the service there was very good. I would suggest to make sure to follow up call after making reservations far in advance. Owners sometimes change and the accomodations/golf cart available can change as well.
