a week agoAbsolutely loved our stay at The Ray Hotel! From start to finish, the hospitality was off the charts — truly a 1000/100. Every single staff member we encountered was warm, welcoming, and eager to help. A special shoutout to Pete, who was a total standout! He was incredibly friendly, helpful, and always had the biggest smile on his face. Honestly, we’d come back just for Pete — he made the experience that much better. The pool was amazing, perfect for relaxing and soaking up the sun. The area is super walkable with lots to explore, and the beach shuttle made getting to the ocean a breeze. Already looking forward to our next visit!

2 months agoBeautiful establishment! Great location and not far from the hustle and bustle of the nightlife of the area. The cafe served great options in the morning. The comfort of the room was amazing. A balcony aided in a long met and I had some relaxation. The amenities of the room were fantastic (who doesn't love a streamer over an iron). Checking in was stemless, and so was checking out. The valet personnel were always friendly, and the front desk staff were AWESOME!! They provided GREAT recommendations on where to eat, grab desserts, or sightsee. Definitely recommend for solo travelers, couples, or small groups.

a week agoIt's Soho House Delray if that makes sense. The service can be great or not depending on how you look. The rooftop is great and the staff are friendly. The pluses are the two wonderful restaurants, especially Campi. Taking old Italian recipes and making them innovative, along with the excellent service. I saw some reviews about the rooms, but mine was great and the location can't be beat. You can walk to all these wonderful local cafes, art galleries and there is a Whit's right across the street and a great Irish dive bar around the corner with a killer chili dog. I agree that the valet is too expensive, especially in these times. A terrific cool place, but not cheesy.

2 months agoUPDATE: Maybe its just ME but the email you provide to follow up is NOT valid and the telephone number provided goes to the front desk to someone answering the phone who had NO idea how to, or where to forward the call too! So "reaching out for feedback" seems like smoke to make it LOOK like you care to anyone reading the review... I'm sure I am not the only one! This review is rapidly turning to a 1 start review!!!!! You clearly have MY information, I stayed at room 432, the one that you can hear the scraping of tables at 6:30am from the Rosewater!!! The Hotel is nice and in a good location, certainly my first 2 nights were good, then things went downhill…. I started to have a cold, used like 5 tissues and the box ran out, it happens. To cut the story short, I requested replacement tissues 3 times, in person on way out, via phone call when I returned then via Text in the AM, even after housekeeping came to clean room, I assumed they would refill then, but nothing! I admit this is a very petty thing, not a big deal but it was amongst a list of things that added up. While I have no complaints, the staff: none were “friendly” (No greeting when walking in, heads all buried down, assuming on phone etc. As a Diamond you get $15 credit but can ONLY use it towards coffee until 3pm, seems kind of cheap for a hotel charging $675 a night… If you live out of your suitcase when traveling no big deal, but there is virtually no "draws" t put clothes in... again minor, just inconvenience. Overall, as I said, its location is great and there were no MAJOR issues, overall disappointed in the level of service provided. We will be coming back for a Wedding in October, I am not sure if I will be picking this place to stay again.

a month agoAs a loyal Hilton Honors Gold member with over two decades of brand loyalty, I’ve never been so disappointed by a stay as I was at The Ray Hotel. From the start, the service was poor. We were never acknowledged as loyal members—a simple gesture I’ve always appreciated at other Hilton properties. Our room was freezing cold with no option to adjust the temperature. When I called to ask about heat, I was told hotels in South Florida don’t have heating—which is simply not true. I live in South Florida and frequently enjoy staycations. Most hotels in the area do offer adjustable climate control. At 67 degrees, my baby couldn’t sleep comfortably. The room itself was also not clean. The bathroom had hair all over it, which was incredibly off-putting. Our door was broken and wouldn’t lock properly—a serious safety concern. The room phone didn’t work, so when I needed toothbrushes, I had to use the app’s chat feature around 9 PM. I didn’t receive them until the next morning—over 12 hours later. Lastly, the daily food and beverage credit I’m entitled to as a Gold member wasn’t honored. Despite contacting the front desk, I was still charged in full. Overall, this was by far the worst Hilton experience I’ve had. I expect better from a Hilton-branded property, especially one positioned as a more upscale offering. I truly hope the hotel addresses these issues so future guests—especially loyal ones—aren’t treated this way.
