The Saint Augustine Beach House

St Augustine Beach House is by far the best dog friendly hotel we have ever found! It’s even located right on a dog friendly beach! Our doodle was living her best life! The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room is a perfect set up for humans and dogs with special dog linens and treats to welcome us! We are definitely planning to visit here every year!

We would come to ST A Beach House again. Totally enjoyed our stay. The owners & staff were helpful & friendly. The breakfast were delicious. We took a tray to our room & ate on the balcony. Clean & comfy room & king bed! Thank y’all for your hospitality! Would definitely stay again!

We just came out here to go to the beach. And it was awesome to know that they allow you to drive your car on the beach, but it must be a 4 / 4, and I think they will allow you to camp here. I'm not sure.... we went during January, so it was very cold.And also , there was not many sea shells out..

My husband and I stayed at the St Augustine Beach House with our 2 dogs. I can't say enough about how great this place is if you need a relaxing vacation! The entire staff was so friendly and helpful. Having breakfast prepared each morning was a huge convenience, and it was actually quite nice. Better than the continental or buffet breakfasts that you get at large hotels (and the scrambled eggs were cooked so well). The location is amazing - it's literally steps from the beach, close to a store and local restaurants, and beautifully quiet. Having beach chairs available to borrow was amazing and we didn't have to deal with dragging sandy things back into our room. For people with dogs, stay here! It's very pet friendly with a reasonable fee. There is an outdoor hose to wash them off before coming inside from the beach and plenty of space in the room so you're not all on top of each other. We booked the bottom floor because we have a large, older dog who can't do stairs (but loves the beach) and it was perfect for her. We will absolutely be staying here again!

We really enjoyed our stay—the hotel is right on the water, in a great location, and the room was clean and comfortable. The only downside was at checkout (with the owner of the property), when an unexpected $20 per day fee was added for our 9-month-old, even though we had disclosed the baby when booking and no charge was listed. The way it was handled made it feel like we were being accused of hiding our child, which left us feeling uncomfortable and disappointed. Otherwise, a beautiful property and all the other interactions with staff were pleasant.
