3 weeks agoWe came to Delray Beach for vacation booked at another property, we left due to cleanliness issues and came to Seagate with NO reservations. Jonathan at the front desk bent over backwards and was the best rep of a hotel ever we had. Yes, we have even stayed at the Waldorf before it closed. Everyone from the Front desk, David and Daniel the front managers were unbelievable. The valet guys are polite and gracious. Immaculate, wonderful Rooms, a 5 star class business. Thank you again guys, you saved our vacation. God bless.

3 weeks agoGreat experience. The hotel is very nice and so are the facilities, including the beach club. Staff is very nice, particularly Lia and Austin, who made our check-in experience super smooth and helped us so we could get in the room ahead of time.

a month agoReally pleased with our two night stay at The Seagate. Service was five star all around! Would have appreciated a room with a balcony and a view, especially considering the hotel wasn’t empty. Should have notified the front desk, but I couldn’t be bothered. Good beach amenities and lovely restaurant on the beach. Would return.

a month agoMy husband and I spent 5 nights there in March 25. The hotel was recently renovated and is lovely. The staff were welcoming and friendly. The food we ate for breakfast was very very good as was the service. The beach club was lovely; we met the new manager and had great service at the inside bar one night and while on the beach and/or at the pool. We had a couple of bumps that detracted from our stay, outlined below, but we would definitely given this another shot. -We were promised an upgraded room the 2nd day and told to leave our bags that morning and we'd be moved first thing. We returned to the hotel after an outing just before lunch and had still not been moved. We ate lunch and then continued to wait to get our beach items as we were told the move would be imminent. By 3:30 pm we were still not moved, even though we got the assistant manager and manager involved, so we left and went to the beach club. It seemed strange that no one seemed to be able to reach housekeeping or gives us feedback on an a time. On return from the beach club we were moved. -Our room was located at the front of the hotel. VERY noisy with traffic and activities on Atlantic Ave. We were there at a busy time, however we would only stay again if we were guaranteed a back room. -I requested concierge assistance with a restaurant reservation. The concierge was not available but someone at the desk said they would pass it on. The reservation was never made.

a month agoThe Seagate Hotel is a beautiful property with great amenities like access to the Seagate Beach Club. However, our stay earlier this week was disappointing. The pool bar area was under construction, which wasn't communicated beforehand, and made enjoying that area less convenient. Check-in was also problematic, with a long wait despite arriving early, and our room wasn't ready until 4:30 pm. One day, we returned to find our room door ajar after housekeeping, a serious security concern. While the staff was friendly, they only offered apologies, without any compensation for these issues. While the hotel itself is nice, the service fell short of 5-star expectations. Better communication about construction and a more proactive approach to service recovery would significantly improve the guest experience.
