a month agoHome from Delray and our stay at the Seagate. I can't wait to go back! We encountered so many great staff members in our stay. From Juan at the beach club (thanks for the olives), Josefa on the pool deck, Sophie and Dan on drink patrol on the beach, Lukas on beach set up, Joseph at the Venetian bar and of course Austin at the side desk in the lobby-everyone made our stay amazing! The rooms are great, love the daily bottled water, the shuttle to the beach or a restaurant made getting places easy! If you want to stay at a place that is within walking distance of the beach and great restaurants, come to the Seagate!!!

2 months agoWe had a wonderful stay at The Seagate Hotel. The property is beautiful, impeccably maintained, and truly feels like a relaxing escape. The service across the hotel stood out—everyone was warm, attentive, and made us feel so well taken care of. A special shout-out to Juan from the pool and beach staff, who was incredibly kind, accommodating, and always ready to help with a smile. The combination of a stunning setting and exceptional staff made our stay memorable, and we can’t wait to return.

a month agoThis is one of our many stays at the Seagate in Delay Beach, FL. The accommodations are excellent and the staff is fabulous. The Beach Club's pool on the beach front is a sanctuary of hospitality, serenity and service. Perry, Juan and Cash at the pool love their jobs. Samie and Paul in the Beach Club's dining room are attentive, pleasant and polite. We have always had a tremendous holiday here. 4 weeks agoStayed at The Seagate Hotel & Spa for 3 nights and unfortunately had one of the most frustrating hotel experiences I’ve had in years. My room was not cleaned a single time during the entire stay. I called housekeeping and visited the front desk four separate times requesting service and was told someone would come each time. No one ever did. Trash piled up, towels weren’t replaced, and the room was never refreshed. On the final call we were actually told to change the sheets ourselves. At checkout, the manager acknowledged the issue and offered a 20% discount. I believed this was to our stay, this was applied to our room before taxes and fees, basically $200. After leaving, I then had to call nine times over four days just to get an itemized bill. When I followed up explaining that $200 didn’t feel sufficient, I was told there was “nothing further they could do.” For a property that markets itself as upscale and charges premium nightly rates, basic housekeeping and accurate billing shouldn’t be optional. Mistakes happen but the lack of follow-through and accountability afterward was the most disappointing part. I wouldn’t stay here again, and I wouldn’t recommend it if consistent service matters to you.

a month agoMy husband and I chose The Seagate for our wedding weekend, and we were incredibly disappointed. We do not recommend this hotel and strongly advise others to stay elsewhere. We notified the staff both in advance and upon arrival that it was our wedding weekend. Despite this, we did not receive even a simple congratulations—let alone any of the gestures one would expect from a five-star luxury resort, such as a bottle of champagne, flowers on the bed, or even a room upgrade. The lack of acknowledgment alone fell far short of expectations. The night before our wedding, at approximately 11:00 p.m., the fire alarm went off and the entire building was evacuated. This was extremely upsetting, especially given that we needed to be awake just a few hours later for our wedding day. The staff made no effort to acknowledge or remedy this disruption, despite being fully aware of the significance of our stay. To make matters worse, WE WERE CHARGED TWICE for our room. We prepaid for the stay through our credit card’s travel portal. Upon arrival, we were asked to provide a credit card for incidentals, which we did. After checking out, we discovered an additional charge of approximately $1,000 placed on that card—effectively billing us twice for the same room. We contacted The Seagate to resolve the issue and were told they could not help and that we needed to contact our credit card company. After spending 45 minutes on the phone, the credit card company confirmed that The Seagate had already been paid in full and that this additional charge was unauthorized. We called the hotel multiple times afterward and were unable to reach a manager. We also sent an email over a week ago and have received no response. We were promised a manager call-back, which never happened. The charge still remains. Between the lack of service, the major disruption before our wedding, and the unresolved double charge, this was an extremely disappointing experience at what claims to be a luxury resort. We have stayed at far nicer and more accommodating properties. This whole experience has been frustrating and disappointing. We would not recommend The Seagate to anyone. Please stay far away.
