a month agoWe stayed here and also at Isla Bella. They are sister properties- while we were here you could go between the two. Tranquility won hands down for… tranquility. Lots less people, much more connected to the ocean, better beach. Isla Bella wins in pretty much the rest of the categories- pools, activities, vibe, spa, swank, etc. If you want to get away- I’d say try Tranquility Bay. If you want to get seen- go with Isla Bella. Either way, you’ll be happy if the weather cooperates!

3 months agoMe and my wife just went here on our honeymoon and it was absolutely amazing. So calm and peaceful. So beautiful. Great location, with things to do. Close enough to key west. The restaurants on site are amazing. The views from our room were great and we loved having a balcony and back porch looking at the ocean. Adult only pool is great and there are games on the beach too. My only complaint is there is not enough seating in the living room, we want to come back with friends because we rented a 3 bedroom room so it can sleep many people but not enough seating. The couch is also incredibly uncomfortable, like really bad. If they update some of that stuff I would have no complaints. My wife wanted a hot tub but not a big deal. Absolutely come here though if you can, it’s worth it.

3 weeks agoTranquility Bay is a beautiful property but the rooms are very dated. We stayed in a 3 bedroom condo and while the size of the condo and the location is great, it is in desperate need of new flooring (the carpet on the steps was gross) and total renovations of the bathrooms. In terms of cleanliness- it was okay. We were comfortable and enjoyed our trip, but it is pricy for the current state of the unit.

2 months agoThe hotel has some positives, but also several areas that need improvement. The staff was very polite and welcoming, which we appreciated. However, the room cleanliness was an issue—the floors were very dirty, and our feet turned black from walking barefoot. The mattress was also uncomfortable, which made it hard to rest. Additionally, the food took a very long time to come out. For the price of both the stay and the meals, I feel the overall service and comfort should be better. With improved cleanliness, quicker food service, and more comfortable bedding, this hotel could be a much better experience.

a month agoWe paid $$ for a beachfront unit to celebrate a milestone anniversary. They are doing construction on the unit directly next door and it is SO LOUD! So much for tranquility. They did offer to move us to a non-beachfront unit but we were already unpacked when we realized the extent of the construction next door. We also chose this property to be able to enjoy a unit right on the beach. I would have thought that construction like this would be taken care of in the off season. Or at least give us a quiet weekend. Aside from the construction, the rooms are vey outdated. The bathroom cabinet looks like somebody took a knife to it. This is not a four star resort.
