EverBank Stadium, two miles away, is easily reached by water taxis that pick-up moments from our door. Perks include our riverside pool, sundeck, two restaurants, and a warm DoubleTree cookie on arrival.

a week agoIt was a very good experience for our first time coming here. The front desk hostess Miranda was so very friendly and polite. She has the best customer service personality anyone can ask for. She smiled and took her time with each customer she helped as I watched. She was really friendly and we appreciated that so much. Thank you Miranda for a great welcoming experience!

a month agoThis is my third time staying here for business purposes. The staff is always awesome. The hotel is definitely old and the rooms show it. But they are well kept. If you can get a room with a balcony facing the river, it’s well worth it. Enjoyed sitting out there most of the evenings, watching the river go by

a month agoThis is the dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed in. Yes the rooms could use updating, but I really don’t mind if things are old- I just mind that they are clean! The picture of the pillow with the brown smear on it was a “clean” pillow on our bed when we arrived at the hotel the first night. The cockroach was in our room on the second night. The shower & tub both haven’t been cleaned a very very long time. The carpet was disgusting, and I’m wishing I would have gotten a picture of that as well. The walls, lampshades, and bed skirts were all stained or had dirty marks all over them. Pest control and cleaning standards are not something a Hilton should be skipping out on. If we wouldn’t have booked through a third party, (non refundable), I would have insisted on getting my money back and gone somewhere else. The only good thing about this hotel is that the location is amazing. It’s waterfront property, and it has great views. You can tell that at one time this was a very nice hotel, but it has gone downhill BIGTIME. Save your money and stay literally anywhere else.

3 weeks agoUnfortunately, my experience at this hotel was disappointing. Upon arrival, the staff was neither welcoming nor accommodating, which made for a poor first impression. Despite this, I chose to give them the benefit of the doubt. The snack bar offered very limited options, and the pool appeared to be accessible to people from outside the hotel, as I encountered several non-guests using the facilities due to the lack of security. Throughout my stay, the front desk staff was consistently unhelpful and lacked basic courtesy or knowledge. The valet service was similarly unfriendly. The hotel itself is outdated. The hallways had an unpleasant odor and became uncomfortably warm at night. My room, including the bathroom, was worn and in need of renovation. Unfortunately, the air conditioning unit broke on the second day of my stay, and with no alternative rooms available, I had to endure two more nights in discomfort. Given the price point, I expected significantly better service and amenities. I would not return to this property, as there are better options in the area that offer superior customer service and more comfortable accommodations.

2 weeks agoThe customer service, at checking in time was less then desirable we understand we all have bad days but that should not keep us from doing our job, which is customer service. I was given the wrong accommodation since I reserved the king size for me and my wife and was given 2 double beds, when I ask if this could be rectified wile putting her hands to her face showing how annoyed she was with this request I was told there was nothing she could do since our reservation was done through a third party, the way this was handled was not right we drove 15 hours to get to the hotel and where tired and still we treted her with kindness and respect just to be met with bad attitude. This is the first impression of a business that is supposed to make people welcome and invited to come at any time but it was not, the rooms could be updated but we understand the economy this days is not the best but given the amount of guess we observed during our stay I'm sure this can be considered.
