3 months agoWe only had one night at this fantastic spot and wish it had been more! Our king superior with balcony was huge and clean. And despite being closest to the road, you can't hear a peep once inside. The amenities are awesome! We had the best paddle and what a gorgeous area to cruise in kayaks. Bikes were perfect to head over for dinner and live music nearby. Lastly, the staff was friendly, at ease and helpful. The overall vibe is casual but accommodating which is just right for us. Thanks for a memorable stay!

2 weeks agoLovely motel just off the main road down through the keys. The rooms were comfortable with good kitchenettes (no crockery or cutlery though), good coffee machine, a fridge & a microwave. We struggled to get the water in the showers hot, but thankfully because the weather was hot it didn’t matter too much! The included continental breakfast was really good and the staff helpful & friendly. There were kayaks, bicycles & paddleboards available for guest use. The pool area was great & the boardwalk was really fab, especially as we were lucky enough to see two manatees and a nurse shark! There were nesting Osprey on a platform that was easily viewable, with plenty of other native birds to see. The hotel has free parking, but does come with a $29 resort fee + tax, but this does allow use of the kayaks & bikes etc.

2 months agoBuyer beware! My friend & I just returned from a quick weekend getaway and stayed at The Fisher Inn & Marina…. On the drive over, we received a call from the hotel that our room and every other room on the 3rd floor had no hot water. However, I was told that the plumber would be arriving the next morning to fix the problem. PS… the plumber doesn’t work weekends and we had no hot water and no showers for the entirety of our stay. Needless to say, we paid top dollar for our stay, over a thousand dollars for a two night stay and the reservation was not refundable! The staff at the front desk were professional enough but acted as if this was a minor inconvenience. The owner was contacted at my insistence and couldn’t be bothered with this trivial matter. In the end, we resorted to bathing in the pool. A happy camper, I am not and will never return this property!

3 weeks agoWe booked a room last minute via Expedia, to visit some friends while they were staying in the Keys. We received a call from the hotel to let us know that they currently had no hot water. The hotel said that they were giving us the chance to cancel, which we did. It's been over a month, Expedia says they can not reach anyone at the hotel, only call centers for booking. We have tried emailing and calling as well. At this point Expedia and Fisher Inn has stolen our money. What a wonderful setup. Expedia takes the booking. The hotel cancels promising a refund, and both companies can point the finger at each other while the customers lose close to 500.00 for a one night stay that never took place. Upon reading other reviews, I see we are also not the only ones this has happened to recently! I'm still unsure as to why Expedia and this hotel were even accepting bookings. Seems like a scam.

a month agoThe location is great. Staff is not friendly or professional for the money paid. I found two small roaches in the room on two separate occasions. We were unable to sleep or rest at night due to the high noise on the AC once it would power on. The continental breakfast is nothing appealing. You’ll have to go have breakfast elsewhere after that. Parking is very tight. Trust me for the money paid you can go to a nearby resort and receive more bang for your buck
